HOW TO PREPARE FOR CLASS 12 BOARD EXAMS

Greetings readers :D Here's another feature post by Arpit Goel :

1. The first thing to do to as soon as you enter class 12 is to be mentally prepared that you are in class 12 and that everyone will keep reminding you about it.

2. Avoid procrastination i.e. posting things for future. Set daily or at least weekly studying goals and make sure you fulfill them.

3. Stay in touch with a teacher who checks board’s papers as he/she can give you valuable tips that can prove to be very crucial.

4. Always check the latest syllabus and specific guidelines of each and every subject as there as minor changes in them every year which can lead to blunders in exams.

5. Never mug up things as it will not fetch you more than 80% marks. If you want to go beyond that barrier then concept clarity is a must even in theoretical subjects.

6. After completing one topic/chapter/2 chapters(as per your convenience) make sure that you give a test so that you identify weak points so that work upon them early not leaving everything for future.

7. After the end of each fortnight take out a day or two to revise whatever you have studied.
8. As soon as December starts take tests regularly. By the time you give your board exams you should have given 8-10 proper full syllabus tests. This will help you in identifying out your weak areas, time management and build up confidence.

9. Aim to finish your syllabus by mid-December so that you have ample time for clearing your doubts and revision work.

10. Don’t let tension and stress get better of you. It kills your confidence and your precious time.

11. Avoid burnouts i.e. studying for long durations in one go. Engage yourself in other activities like sports, music or anything that gives you joy.

12. When in doubt consult teachers and TRUSTWORTHY friends.
